Program:  Project Y.O.U. (Glue Sniffing Project)
Description:  The project continues to evolve from the beginnings 6 years ago when glue sniffing was identified as a community issue. This project focuses on drug prevention, leadership and peer mentoring training. Youth in local high schools learn skills and then create presentations for youth in local middle schools who they then become mentors to. Employment training and work placement opportunities will be provided to further enhance community connections among the mentor/youth and assist them in making a healthy transition to the next grade.
